Google Desktop add-ons

So Google Desktop comes with a whole bunch of panels, and if you download and install google talk, it installs an extra google talk panel. But if you want some new panels you can check them out here:

I currently have only added on two panels:
gdTunes and System Monitor. gdTunes lets you control iTunes from the Sidebar while System Monitor tells you how much cpu, memory, disk access and network access is going on. Both are really neat. :)

In light of Google Desktop I've deleted Konfabulator from my computer. I really have no need for it anymore. Google Desktop does everything it did and more with a better interface to boot.

One last thing. While I was using my family's Dell downstairs (as opposed to my computer in my room) (I don't have printer access from my computer) I decided to listen to my music. But I hadn't updated my music on the Dell machine in quite some time and it wasn't organized the way I liked it. And then I realized what I could do. I went upstairs and set up iTunes on my computer to 'share' my music library, opening it up to anyone on our network. I went back downstairs and set up iTunes on the Dell to search for 'shared' music libraries. Almost instantly, the music library from my computer appeared in the 'Source' list in iTunes on the Dell. When I clicked on it, I could see a list of all my music on my computer and I could even access my different playlists. And now I can play music on my Dell without the music even being on it's hard-drive. It just streams the music across the network from my computer. Man, iTunes is cool. :D
