Weekly Desktop August/13/2006 + WWDC 2006 Results
It looks like my expectations were met: the new Xeon based Mac Pro. Man, that thing is crazy.
note: Apple also did happen to release new Xeon based Xserves.
And Leopard also looks to be like a solid upgrade. It's current features are quite nice. I particularly like Spaces and Time Machine. Plus the fact that it's going to take full advantage of 64 bit Intel and G5 processors and the fact that it's still completely backwards compatible with all the older 32 bit PPC and Intel hardware and the fact that this is all going to be in one box (there's not going to be some 64 bit edition of Leopard alongside the standard one) makes it a very impressive upgrade.
